Provide Your Feedback: Demos of Canvas and an updated D2L
Your voice matters! TCU’s contract with D2L Brightspace, our Learning Management System (LMS), is up for renewal. On Sept. 9-18, we are demonstrating two options to gather your valuable input: Canvas (Sept. 9-11) and a new version of D2L (Sept. 16-18.). I encourage faculty and academic support staff to attend one session for Canvas and one for D2L to provide feedback on both. Choose from in-person or Zoom. Student sessions are available, so feel free to share with your students. Click here for dates and times for demo sessions via zoom and in person.

Research Training
The Office of Research will host an IRB 101 Workshop for Human Subject Research on Sept. 10. This workshop covers guidelines required before an investigator can begin a study and is recommended for anyone planning on doing human subjects research or applying for IRB approval of a study. On Sept. 12, Responsible Conduct of Research Training will be offered for students, postdocs and faculty who are paid from grant funds, and all postdoctoral fellows/associates. Both events are in person. If you cannot attend these dates, trainings are offered each semester. Click here for dates, times and locations.
