Faculty Affairs supports excellence throughout every TCU faculty member’s career at TCU, including recruitment, hiring, mentoring, development, merit review, and promotion and tenure. Faculty Affairs also promotes clarity in Academic Affairs’ policies and practices. Faculty Affairs is led by Associate Provost M. Francyne Huckaby.

TCU utilizes the Watermark software platform to simplify data collection and automate tasks for Faculty Success, Annual Reports, Promotion and Tenure, and Course Evaluations and Surveys. Faculty and administrators spend less time on manual data entry, easily manage professional profiles, see career paths clearly, find answers, run reports quickly, and manage data with confidence.

Faculty Annual Reports
Regular, full-time faculty members are required to submit annual reports in January each year through Watermark Faculty Success. These may be used for recommendations for merit-based salary adjustments. All full-time faculty have access to Watermark Faculty Success using Single Sign-On (SSO). Promotion, Tenure and Emeritus Cycle
Promotion, tenure, and emeritus (PTE) candidates, committees, unit admins, department chairs, deans, and provost office will add materials, review them, and make recommendations in Watermark. Click here for guides, instructions and deadlines.

Course Evaluations & Surveys – Student Perception of Teaching (SPOT)
This centralized platform collects, manages, and analyzes feedback from students and stakeholders about courses, instructors, and academic programs.
