Associate Provost, Academic Planning, Budgeting & Operations

Megan Soyer

Soyer is the senior finance and operations executive for the Office of the Provost with direct responsibility for finance, budget, human resources, and capital projects.  She provides advice and counsel to the Provost on a broad array of academic initiatives and opportunities. She serves as the primary budget liaison to the university’s nine colleges/schools and is the point person for faculty hiring initiatives, including facilitating the recruitment of highly distinguished faculty members.

Soyer was an auditor for Ernst and Young before joining TCU as a financial analyst in 2007. She served as budget manager for TCU Finance and Administration from 2008 to 2012, then assistant budget director until 2015, when she joined the Office of the Provost as Assistant Provost for Academic Affairs Planning and Budgeting. She was named Associate Provost of Academic Planning, Budgeting and Operations in 2018.
