TCU graduated 738 at fall commencement Dec. 21

Ceremonies featured the presentation of two honorary degrees and 17-year-old Carson Huey-You receiving his master’s degree

Texas Christian University and Brite Divinity School today bestowed degrees on 738 students from 38 states, including Texas, and from 14 foreign countries in two formal ceremonies held in the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena on the TCU campus. August and December degree candidates participated in the ceremonies. Students received their diplomas from Chancellor Victor J. Boschini, Jr., who also delivered the commencement address.

Of the total number of degree candidates, 542 earned bachelor’s degrees, 109 were master’s degree candidates, 72 were doctoral candidates and 15 were Brite Divinity School graduate candidates. One hundred twenty-four graduated with Latin Honors: 69 cum laude, 41 magna cum laude and 14 summa cum laude. Three students earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
