Sh’Nique Alford Honored with 2023 Maryrose and Dan Short Teaching Excellence Award

Sh’Niqua AlfordSh’Nique Alford, Assistant Professor of Professional Practice and Director of the Bachelor of Social Work Program in the Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences, was honored among exceptional untenured, full-time faculty members, including non-tenure-track faculty, who have been at TCU five years or less.

Dr. Alford is a life-long learner with a strong knowledge as a licensed clinical social worker and the ability to build rapport with her students. She has developed  study abroad opportunities in social work and has implemented interprofessional education activities in her coursework.
