Mikio Akagi, Assistant Professor of History and Philosophy of Science in the John V. Roach Honors College, was honored among exceptional untenured, full-time faculty members, including non-tenure-track faculty, who have been at TCU five years or less.
Dr. Akagi translates his philosophical training into creative courses that are accessible and relevant to students from all majors. Students learn to use tools of philosophical and scientific inquiry to grapple with complex social problems.
