Dear TCU campus community,
It is my pleasure to announce that, after a nationwide search, our own Mandy Castro will be dean of undergraduate admission beginning August 1. Mandy joined TCU in 2017 and has been an integral part of our enrollment gains as she led first-year and transfer student recruitment and admission as director of admission.
As more and more students across the nation and around the world vie to become TCU Horned Frogs, who better to lead our admission aspirations than someone who is a deep believer in everything TCU has to offer: academic excellence, personal support, respected faculty, caring staff, a fun social scene and top-tier sports.
She will report to Vice Provost for Enrollment Management Heath Einstein, who adds: “Mandy emerged as the perfect candidate due to her expertise in largescale recruitment. With a shifting enrollment landscape, her industry-leading approach to recruiting a large and diverse pool of potential students is precisely what TCU needs as we move into our next strategic plan.”
Please join me in congratulating Mandy as we embark on an exciting, growing future. You can learn more about Mandy by clicking here to access the TCU News announcement.
I thank the search committee for their time and commitment to finding the right person for this important role, and especially Registrar Nichole Mancone Fisher for her leadership as chair of the search committee.
Go Frogs!
