Provost Teresa Abi-Nader Dahlberg has appointed Joanne Connor Green, professor of political science, as TCU’s new chairs coordinator. The chairs coordinator is responsible for organizing support and training for department chairs and program directors across campus and reports to Vice Provost Susan Weeks.
Dr. Green brings significant leadership experience to this role, including service as a chair for the departments of Political Science and Women & Gender Studies. She also has served as the chair of pivotal university committees, including the University Advisory Committee and a CORE revision committee. Dr. Green’s strong organizational skills and communication abilities provide a strong foundation for her service in this role.
As the leader of the Chairs Council, Dr. Green will collaborate closely with the Office of the Provost; deans; associate deans; the Koehler Center for Instruction, Innovation and Engagement; Human Resources; and other offices as needed.
