Dr. Ron Pitcock Named Dean of the John V. Roach Honors College

Dear TCU campus community,

I am pleased to announce that Ron Pitcock, Ph.D., will be dean and Wassenich Family Endowed Chair of the John V. Roach Honors College.

A respected leader, teacher and mentor, Dean Pitcock needs no introduction to many of you. He joined TCU in 2001 and has spent the past 15 years in the Roach Honors College, garnering many awards for his teaching and mentorship.

Among an impressive pool of national candidates, Dean Pitcock’s proven skills and commitment to lead the faculty, staff and students of the distinctive Roach Honors College, well as his collaborative relationships within the college and across campus, made him the ideal choice.

I am excited that he will continue his dedication to TCU in this leadership role.
