Campus Reopening and Important Sadler Hall Notice

Dear Academic Affairs colleagues,

I hope you are staying warm and safe. As you know from TCU Alert, TCU will open at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 3.

I write to answer any questions you may have about academic continuity when campus reopens. I also include an important notice, below and attached, for those who teach and office in Sadler Hall.

When Campus Reopens
All classes will resume at 10:00 a.m. Friday. Classes and labs that normally meet earlier than 10:00 a.m. on Friday are canceled.

Course Expectations
Inform your students of adjusted course expectations and deadlines to make sure the course learning objectives are met.

Make-up Classes
Any make-up time will take place during the scheduled class time or through out-of-class activities. There will be no separate make-up days or times outside of the regularly scheduled class day and time.

Important Information for Those Who Teach and Office in Sadler Hall

The boiler in Sadler Hall is under repair and may not be functioning by Friday.

  • Classes scheduled in Sadler Hall for Friday have been relocated to other classrooms, as per the schedule below.
  • Faculty teaching these classrooms should contact their students to inform them of the new location.
  • Relocated classrooms will be posted at the entrances of Sadler for any students who miss the message from their faculty.
  • Relocated classrooms in Sadler are for classes scheduled from 10:00 a.m. through the remainder of the day on Friday, Jan. 3, only.
  • Staff who office in Sadler Hall may work remotely unless their supervisor identifies another space to work on campus.
