Announcing Lindsay Cadenhead as Director of Extended Education

The Office of the Provost announces that Lindsay Cadenhead is the new Director of Extended Education at Texas Christian University, providing strategic leadership for TCU’s lifelong learning initiatives. Cadenhead joined TCU in 2020 as program coordinator and then manager for Extended Education after dedicating nearly two decades of her career to Texas public education.

As director of TCU’s Extended Education, Cadenhead leads the planning, development and growth of educational opportunities for learners at every stage of life, from youth summer camps and community education to professional and continuing education to Silver Frogs for retired adults. She directs the Advanced Placement Summer Institute, a nationally recognized premier professional learning program serving approximately 1,500 teachers annually. She also serves on the College Board Advanced Placement Summer Institute Advisory Panel, collaborating with educational leaders from across the country to support excellence in professional learning.

Cadenhead began her career as a classroom educator before advancing to campus and district curriculum leadership roles. Her experience includes instructional leadership, educator development, strategic planning and program administration. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University–Commerce and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.
