Promotion, Tenure and Emeritus 2025
It is my privilege to acknowledge and congratulate the 67 faculty members and 19 emeritus candidates who were approved for promotion, tenure or emeritus status by the TCU Board of Trustees. UNLF and STEM Scholars Reporting to Assoc. Provost for Undergraduate Affairs
I am happy to announce that these two exceptional TCU student programs, Intro to University Life and STEM Scholars, are now under the leadership of Reginald A. Wilburn, associate provost for undergraduate affairs. I know these programs will thrive under his leadership. More information is available here.

Dean Kruger Stepping Down
Dr. Michael Kruger is stepping down as dean of the College of Science & Engineering to return to teaching and research. With his dedication to the teacher-scholar model and renowned research in physics, he will continue to be an asset to TCU as we advance a more rigorous research agenda. Thanks to Dr. Kruger for all he has done to inspire, uplift and educate the next generation of STEM scholars.

Finding Ourselves in Community (FSC) Workshops Accepting Applications
I am excited to see FSC-designated courses offered across so many studies. I encourage faculty from all disciplines to participate in the Fall 2025 workshops to prepare you to include FSC in your courses. This important initiative for TCU’s accreditation provides a $2,000 stipend for completing the workshops and teaching your first course. Click here to apply to the Fall 2025 workshops.

Commencement
I encourage you to attend our May Commencement, including a new Friday evening ceremony for graduate and professional degree recipients. This is our chance to applaud our newest Horned Frog alumni. As always, the Provost’s Office will reimburse your regalia rental.
