Priorities

Academic Affairs advances the mission of TCU to educate individuals to think and act as ethical leaders and responsible citizens in the global community. We do this through research and creative activities, scholarship, service, and programs of teaching and learning offered from undergraduate to the doctoral level. Guided by TCU’s four core values – Integrity, Engagement, Community and Excellence –  the Office of the Provost works to facilitate the goals outlined in the Lead On: Values in Action strategic plan through programs and initiatives focused on student success and academic experience, faculty distinction and scholarship, academic excellence and program eminence, and career and professional development.  Our actions, in collaboration with our colleagues across the institution, will lead to TCU’s future as “The University of Fort Worth,” a top private institution with a national reputation for best-in-class student experience, scholarly impact and the most competitive athletics.
