The purpose of this policy is to define the discretion of faculty who are instructors of record to provide a student who is experiencing extenuating circumstances with temporary remote access or alternative modes of instructional delivery. Secondarily, this policy clarifies the role of the Office of the Dean of Students in verifying the circumstances that may lead to providing temporary remote access or alternative modes of instructional delivery.
