Dear Academic Affairs colleagues,
The last day of class is rapidly approaching. I congratulate you on providing yet another outstanding semester for our students.
Here are a few quick reminders for the end of the semester:
Final Evaluative Exercise Policy
A final evaluative exercise must be administered in all classes during finals week, May 5-9.
The only exceptions are
- Graduating seniors – See below
- Students with more than two finals in 24 hours
- Students whose final exam conflicts with a major religious holiday
Grade Turnaround
- Senior Degree Candidates
- Grades must be recorded by 5:00 p.m., May 7.
- If their course finals are scheduled for May 8-9, their finals may be rescheduled on the corresponding Study Days or Saturday at the same time of day as originally scheduled.
- Grades for all other students must be submitted within 48 hours of the final.
I look forward to seeing you at Commencement Friday evening and Saturday to congratulate our students as they go on to do great things.
Best wishes,
Floyd
