Teresa Hiner Joins Office of the Provost as Executive Assistant

Teresa Hiner joins Texas Christian University as executive assistant to the Provost. She will manage and support operations for the Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.

Hiner has more than 12 years of experience in office administration, including supporting C-level executives, and strong expertise in working with high-level leaders.

As executive assistant to Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Teresa Abi-Nader Dahlberg, Hiner represents the Provost both internally and externally. She plans and supports high-level administrative functions, assists with special projects, manages the calendar, and acts as liaison with the TCU Board of Trustees Academic Affairs sub-committee.

Hiner most recently was an executive assistant with Lockheed Martin, supporting the vice president of strategy and business development and, previously, Human Resources. Before Lockheed, Hiner was administrative manager for the City of Grapevine from 2020 to 2022 and was administrative coordinator at BNSF Railway from 2011 to 2020, where she received several promotions. She brings educational experience from serving as an administrative assistant to the Keller Independent School District from 2007-2011.

“I welcome Teresa to TCU and look forward to working with her and introducing her to the administrative leaders, faculty and staff of Academic Affairs and beyond. I am confident that her background, skills and experience will contribute to efficiency, consistency and positive outcomes within Academic Affairs, among TCU leadership, and with our partners across campus,” Provost Dahlberg said.
