Dear Academic Affairs colleagues,
I hope you are enjoying this wonderful fall weather. It is a busy time of year, so I want to remind you of upcoming opportunities.
TCU’s QEP: Finding Ourselves in Community
An integral part of TCU’s SACSCOC reaccreditation is a five-year Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). Finding Ourselves in Community is a curricular focus on self-awareness to help students develop skills for interacting with others. Finding Ourselves in Community will amplify the curricular work already happening on campus to reach students from every major. I encourage faculty who are interested in revising your courses to support Finding Ourselves in Community to apply for the first professional development cohort taking place in Spring 2023. A $2,000 stipend will be provided.
TCU Global
You may have seen the news in TCU Today that the Center for International Studies has a new name, TCU Global. The change reflects the broader mission of serving our students to become exceptional global citizens, both domestically and abroad. For more information, visit tcuglobal.tcu.edu.
Faculty Annual Reports
It is time for regular full-time faculty (excluding visiting lecturers) to submit annual reports to be used to formulate recommendations for merit salary adjustments. Deadline to submit is January 17, 2023. Steps are outlined here Faculty Resources – Faculty Annual Reports on my website.
Have a great rest of your week and Go Frogs!
