Nominees for 2025 University Awards for Excellence in Teaching, Research and Creativity

Students know it. TCU colleagues know it. Even colleagues at other universities know it. TCU faculty excel at the teacher-scholar model. So much so that deans choose six faculty each year to receive the prestigious Deans’ Award for Research and Creativity and the Deans’ Award for Teaching. The awards are among the highest universitywide honors bestowed on faculty.

“Our faculty work hard at both teaching and scholarship, so we make it a priority to recognize their extraordinary academic accomplishments, not just once, but year after year,” said Floyd L. Wormley Jr., Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.

To be nominated is an honor in itself, since faculty from each college or school select nominees from among their peers.

Congratulations to all of the nominees featured below. Winners will be announced May 1.
