Subject:  Celebrating TCU Graduates, May 2024 Commencement

Dear Colleagues,

As you all know, Commencement is one of the most important moments in the life of a Texas Christian University Horned Frog.  It takes a team of hundreds to ensure it is a joyous and celebratory occasion for all – thank you for being a key part of that team.

For those who attended December Commencement, you may have noticed some positive changes to the staging, other small operational improvements and much larger lawn festivities to ensure that every graduate feels celebrated as newly minted TCU alumni.

We are expecting a record number of graduates for May Commencement and it’s our goal to respect everyone’s time as well as provide the same meaningful experience to our graduates. We will be hosting three ceremonies on Saturday, May 11. It will be a long day, but the benefit is that we will give everyone back their Sunday for Mother’s Day and the many family events that are planned.

The Registrar’s Office, ceremony Marshals, University events teams and other leaders have been consulted and have begun planning so we have a full but efficient day that preserves the experience for our guests.

We will post this to the commencement site soon, but wanted to share with you and other key audiences. The schedule is below. Stay tuned for additional information and please reach out to Brad Thompson (x4756) if you have ideas or questions.

Go Frogs!
