Student Grievance

As stated in the Faculty Handbook

The University has informal and formal procedures that a student may follow when presenting grievances.

A grievance is defined as any dispute or difference concerning the interpretation or enforcement of any provision of University regulations, policies, or procedures or state or federal laws applicable on the campus.

Administrators, faculty, and students are encouraged in all instances to resolve grievances informally, and as promptly as possible. However, formal procedures may be followed when needed. These assure all parties to the dispute “fair play” rights and set certain time limitations. Information about the student grievance procedure via University Judicial System is available from the Dean of Students Office by clicking this link.
