LEAD ON: Values in Action

“With the TCU Values of Integrity, Engagement, Community and Excellence as our guide, LEAD ON: Values in Action is poised to lead TCU into its next decade and beyond.”
— President Daniel W. Pullin

Guided by TCU’s four core values – Integrity, Engagement, Community and Excellence – TCU’s next chapter will lead to its future as “The University of Fort Worth,” a top private institution with a national reputation for best-in-class student experience, scholarly impact and the most competitive athletics. Approved by the Board of Trustees in November 2024, this strategic plan is a product of community insight and collaboration. In January 2025, we will begin the process of bringing the plan to life.

Strategic Pillars

  • Student-centered Growth: Deliver an exceptional student experience to an expanded student body.
  • Research, Scholarship and Creative Activities: Solidify our position as the premier research institution for Fort Worth and beyond.
  • Athletics: Elevate TCU athletics’ winning legacy and student-athlete experience.
  • Community Engagement: Be the institution that writes the next chapter for Fort Worth and beyond, in partnership with our community.

Provost Wormley will leads Academic Affairs to focus primarily on Pillar #2:

Research, Scholarship & Creative Activity

With a commitment to curiosity and innovation, TCU fosters a research culture that encourages academic discovery, creativity and scholarship across disciplines. We aspire to grow as a leading center for research and creativity, drive new knowledge, inspire interdisciplinary connections and make a lasting impact on society.
