Conflict Resolution Policy for Faculty

As stated in the Faculty Handbook

The Conflict Resolution Policy provides TCU faculty with a prompt and fair method for resolving work-related problems or disputes, and encourages informal dispute resolution through discussion and mediation.

Summary of the Faculty Conflict Resolution Process is:

  1. Step 1: Informal Discussion
  2. Step 2: Mediation
  3. Step 3: Peer Review Panel/Provost Review
  4. Step 4: Chancellor Review (dismissal disputes only)

The policy was transferred from the 2022 Faculty and Staff Handbook and then reviewed and approved by a special committee of the Faculty Senate in July 2023.
