The Green Honors Chair Program

About the Program

The late Cecil H. and Ida Green endowed the program in 1969 with the goal of bringing scholars and artists of national and international stature to campus for short residencies to:

The program is shared by almost every college and department on campus and provides new ideas and stimulation for faculty, staff and students. Each department within a school has the opportunity to invite a Green Chair every three years.
